Upon your arrival at Zvartnots International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our team. From the airport, you will be escorted to the captivating city of Yerevan, the heart of Armenia. After the journey, you will be transferred to your selected hotel, where you can check in, settle in, and take some well-deserved rest, preparing for the exciting days ahead.
Yerevan City Tour with Garni Temple, Geghard Monastry and Vernissage visits
Following a period of relaxation, take a city tour around Yerevan, the history of which dates back to the 8th century. The sightseeing tour includes a visit to Republic Square, Northern Avenue, the Opera House with Swan Lake, and the Cascade Monument, which is considered to be the center of art in the city. Here, you can find unique sculptures. In the evenings, the place becomes even more charming with all its lights and people from all over the world. On the way to Garni, stop at the Arch of Charents – a favorite spot for tourists, offering a stunning view of Mount Ararat and Yerevan. The arch is named after the great Armenian poet Egishe Charents, who loved to come to this place and enjoy the beauty of the Armenian land. You can also enjoy this beauty and take a photo to remember your wonderful trip to Armenia. Depart for the Garni Pagan Temple from the 1st century. The temple was built by Armenian King Tiridates and was dedicated to the God of the Sun, Mithra. Garni is the only Hellenistic temple still existing in Armenia. The stairs of the temple are large and high, symbolizing that every human climbing the stairs is reaching towards the God of the Sun. Continue your journey to Geghard Monastery (13th century) – a monastery hewn out of a cave. The monastery was originally named Ayrivank, meaning "the Monastery of the Cave." The name commonly used for the monastery today, Geghard, or more fully Geghardavank, means "the Monastery of the Spear." The monastery is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage list. The most popular time to visit Tsaghkadzor is winter, thanks to the famous ski resort which is the largest in Armenia. It attracts tourists and professional athletes from around the world for skiing and snowboarding. You'll have the opportunity to ride the ropeway, which will take you to the peak of Mount Teghenis, offering a breathtaking view of the forested town.The road will then take you to Lake Sevan. Here, at Lake Sevan, with its beautiful peninsula, we will climb many stairs to see the church located on the peak - Sevanavank. From there, you'll have a beautiful view of the "blue-eyed" lake.
